The AMG GLS 63 has been launched in India at INR 1.58 crore (ex-showroom, Pune). The AMG version has been given some cosmetic changes to make it look separate from the regular one.

The front end sports a new bumper with a larger air dam. It has been given the AMG body kit, 21-inch AMG cross-spoke alloys, red brake callipers and mirrors with brand logo projection.

The letters ‘AMG’ is labeled across the cabin and the steering is covered in black Nappa leather. The SUV is equipped with features like automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system, electrically operated tailgate temperature-controlled cup holders and front seats with massage function. It also gets the AMG ride control sports suspension and active curve system roll stabilization.

It packs a 5.5L, V8 biturbo engine that churns out 577 BHP and 760 Nm of torque paired with a revised 7G-TRONIC gearbox. The carmaker claims that this SUV can accelerate from 0–100 in 4.6 seconds.
