Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition launched in India

Mercedes-Benz India have launched a limited edition variant of its flagship GLS SUV, the GLS Grand Edition. Largely featuring cosmetic updates, the GLS Grand Edition is an effort by Mercedes to clear existing stocks of the vehicle.

The GLS Grand Edition gets LED headlamps with surrounding black rings, new 20" alloy wheels in a glossy black finish, chrome fins on the bonnet and Grand Edition exterior badges.

In addition to the features available on the standard GLS, the Grand Edition gets a redesigned instrument panel with semi-integrated colour Media Display and rear seat entertainment system comprising of two 7" HD screens with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality as standard. On the standard GLS, the rear seat entertainment system is an optional feature.

The GLS Grand Edition retains the same engine lineup with a 3.0 litre, V6 diesel engine producing 258 hp on the GLS 350 d variant and a 3.0 litre, V6 petrol engine producing 333 hp on the GLS 400 variant.

Both petrol and diesel variants of the GLS Grand Edition start at Rs. 86.90 Lakh (ex-showroom).
