Mercedes leaks photo of all new E63 AMG on facebook. We like.

Remember our story on the all new Mercedes E63 AMG going all wheel drive? If you haven’t read that, you should do so first:

Well, looks like the facebook team of Mercedes AMG have leaked this image and look who is saying Hello from the right hand side. (Circled in read if you don’t understand what ‘right hand side means’) Why, its the all new E63 AMG!

Car&Driver, the people who first told us that the new power-packed E Class would favor AWD did try to say a few things about the exterior of the car even camouflage not withstanding. Here is what the car looked like:

Here is what they had to say:

“The cars we rode in were heavily disguised to hide the various bodywork changes that comprise the facelift, but a few things were obvious underneath the patterned contact paper. The nose of the car seems lower and sleeker, and it appears that the three-pointed star has been tossed in favor of a look that mirrors that of the SL.

There’s also a spoiler built into the front fascia that mimics a Formula 1 car’s front wing and breaks up the various air intakes. Along the sides, the curving character line above the rear wheel well is gone and the car also gets new head- and taillights, although they were much too heavily disguised to evaluate. According to Källenius, the idea was to make the car look more aggressive.”

Well, based on this image, the front spoiler does look very good and has some F1-ness about it. And the aggressiveness is definitely present as well, albeit a bit subtle.

We can’t wait to see the car in flesh at the Detroit Motor Show though.
