Nissan Kicks production starts in Chennai

Nissan India has announced the start of production of New KICKS after the first vehicle rolled out the assembly line from its Chennai plant. With the production on, the SUV is expected to be launched in January 2019.

The New Nissan Kicks gets a V-motion chrome grille at the front flanked by LED projector headlights with U shaped LED DRLs. The front bumper is finished in dual-tone and houses a pair of rectangular fog lamps and flanked by a silver scuff plate. The Kicks comes with wraparound tail lights and a dual-tone rear bumper with silver inserts at the back. It also gets a contrast color roof, roof rails, shark fin antenna and 17-inch, 5-spoke machined alloy wheels. The body of the New Nissan Kicks is built with a GRAPHENE (Gravity-philic Energy Absorption) body structure, enabling it to absorb impact energy, making it safer for Indian roads.

The Nissan Kicks will measure 4384 mm in length, 1813 mm in width, 1656 mm in height,a wheel base of 2673 mm and with a substantial ground clearance. Features wise, the Kicks is expected to be offered with dual-tone interiors with a touchscreen infotainment system and 360-degree camera.
