Nissan has unveiled its new Indian-spec SUV, the Kicks. This new SUV is expected to be launched in the beginning of next year. It is built with GRAPHENE (Gravity-philicEnergy Absorption) Body Structure, which is capable of absorbing impact energy. While the international version is based on the V Platform underpinning the Micra, the Indian spec is based on the Dacia’s B0/Logan platform based on the Terrano.

It comes with LED Projector Headlamps with DRL, Fog lamps, Signature V-motion front grille, ORVMs with indicators, Boomerang-shaped LED tail lamps, Shark fin antenna and Floating roof with roof rails. It also gets the 17-inch 5-spoke machined alloy wheels. Nissan is also expected to offer the SUV with interiors similar to that of the global version.

Measuring 4384 mm in length, 1813 mm in width and 1656 mm in height, the Indian-spec Kicks is much bigger than the global version. It has a wheelbase of 2673 mm.

We expect the SUV to be powered by the 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. It will be competing with Renault Captur, Tata Harrier and Hyundai Creta.
