Skoda India has launched a new range topping version of its SUV, the Kodiaq at an introductory ex-showroom (India) price of INR 35.99 lacs. A new Magnetic Brown exterior paint shade has also been introduced that is exclusive only to the L&K variant.

The Kodiaq L&K comes with minor visual changes and a handful of feature additions. The exterior now gets a different chrome garnish on the front grille and rear bumper diffuser, silver roof rails, and ‘Laurin & Klement’ badges on the front fenders.

On the interior, it gets an all-digital instrument cluster, unlike the analog instrument console on the Style variant and it gets large digital screen that displays speed, drive range, navigation, music and other information. The Skoda Kodiaq L&K offers a 360-degree surround view system that gets input from four wide angled cameras placed around the car. The seats get L&K insignias on the upholstery while the cabin gets a piano black trim, and the old pedals get replaced by aluminium pedals.

The Skoda Kodiaq L&K gets powered by the same 2.0 L turbocharged four cylinder diesel engine mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission producing 150 HP and 340 Nm of torque. All Wheel drive is standard in the Kodiaq. The L&K trim gets all the safety features as the Style trim.

The Kodiaq L&K variant pays tribute to Skoda’s founders Vaclav Laurin and Vaclav Klement.
