Skoda rumoured to launch Rapid Monte Carlo

As per media reports, Skoda India could be launching the Rapid Monte Carlo edition in the coming months. Few changes have been made to the interiors and exteriors of this edition.

The sedan will come with a red exterior and an all-black interior. It will also get an all-black grille & wing mirrors, 16-inch alloy and boot spoiler both in black.

The interior will get a faux-carbon fibre trim on the dashboard, aluminuim scuff plates & sport pedals, black upholstery with red stitching on the gear knob, unique floor mats, flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel and a mobile holder.

The Rapid Monte Carlo is expected to continue with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder, diesel rated @ 110 BHP & 250 Nm of torque and the 1.6L, 4-cylinder, petrol rated @ 103 BHP & 153 Nm. Transmission duties for both the engines will be handled by a 5-speed manual or an automatic. The petrol trim gets the 6-speed automatic, while the diesel gets the high-tech 7-speed diesel.
