Skoda Superb Sportline launched in India

Skoda Superb Sportline has been launched in India at a price of INR 28.99 lacs for the 1.8 TSI AT and INR 31.49 lacs for the 2.0 TDI AT. The sedan comes with few updates to the exterior and interior. It is available in 3 colours — Moon White, Velvet Red and Steel Grey.

The front end gets a glossy black grille, Bi-Xenon headlights, LED DRLs and air dam. A boot lip spoiler, dual tone bumper with chrome accents are the features at rear end. It also comes with 17-inch dual tone Drakon alloy wheels.

The interior features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Mirror Link, black Alcantara upholstery, black dashboard with red highlights, Carbon decor with LED ambient lighting, Chrome front and rear door sill trims with SUPERB inscription and auto dimming ORVMs. Other features on offer include a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters, 3-zone auto climate control, rear view camera with washer, height adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof and aluminium pedals.

Safety features on offer include Dual Front airbags, front & rear side & curtain airbags, Adaptive Front light System (AFS) with auto headlight levelling & curve light assistant, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Hill Brake Assist (HBA), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), Electronic Differential Lock (EDS), ABS with EBD, ESC and parking sensors on the front & rear.

Skoda offers 2 engine options for the Superb Sportline — a 1.8 L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine, producing 177 HP & 250 Nm of torque, and a 2 L, 4-cylinder, diesel engine producing 174 HP & 350 Nm of torque. The petrol engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, while the diesel engine is available with the 6-speed DSG automatic transmission.
