Skoda Auto India has listed the new model, Superb SportLine in it’s website with the words “coming soon”. This model, already on sale European markets, is expected to receive some updates on the inside and outside.

Though we don’t have any information about what Skoda will be offering in the Indian version, the European version gives us an idea of what could be offered. The front gets a glossy black grille, smoked headlights and fog lamps. The Rear end comes with a dual-tone bumper and also gets a black boot lip spoiler. Skoda offers 18-inch alloys as standards, while 19-inch alloys are optional.

Also, on the inside, the model features a black cabin, leather 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel, dual-pod instrument cluster, performance monitor, LED ambient lighting, Sports seats, aluminium pedals and an infotainment system.

Mechanical specifications of this European model is a 2-Litre, turbocharged petrol engine, rated at 280 BHP and 350 Nm of torque paired with a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission. An AWD is also offered with the 7-speed DSG. The2-Litre, turbocharged diesel engine has got 2 power options — 150 BHP & 340 Nm of torque and 190 BHP & 400 Nm of torque. This diesel mill is paired to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission. The diesel is also offering 4x4 variants with the DSG.

We expect the Indian model to be powered by the 1.8-L turbo petrol and 2-L turbo diesel engine which are available currently.
