Tata Motors launches the Tigor facelift at a starting price of INR 5.20 lacs

The all new Tata Tigor has been launched in India today. This new compact sedan comes in 5 variants — XE, XM, XZ, XZA and XZ+. It comes equipped with various features and has got new updates to its exteriors and interiors. It has got Multi-driving mode for both petrol and diesel variants.

The new Tigor comes with the diamond front grille, dual-pod projector headlamps with chrome finish, crystal inspired LED tail lamps, ORVMs with LED turn indicators, chrome accents on door handles, shark fin antenna, roof-spoiler with LED stop lamp and 15-inch diamond cut dual-tone alloys.

The cabin gets a premium black & grey interior theme, titanium color faux leather upholstery, height adjustable driver seat. Tata also offers centre armrest with cup holders as standard feature across all variants.

It comes equipped with features like 7-inch Touchscreen infotainment by Harman with Android connectivity & voice recognition, first-in-segment 8 Speakers from Harman, automatic climate control, rear-view camera, reverse parking sensors and 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

Standard Safety feature on offer include Dual front airbag, Corner Stablity control and ABS with EBD.

Mechanically the new Tigor remains unchanged. It is powered by the 1.2 L petrol and 1.05 L diesel engines. The Transmission option for the petrol includes a 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT, while the diesel comes with a 5-speed MT alone. These engines have been refined and optimized for performance and offer lower NVH.

The all new Tigor is available in 6 shades — Egyptian Blue, Roman Silver, Espresso Brown, Berry Red, Pearlescent White and Titanium Grey.
