Tata to launch Tigor AMT in 3–4 months

According to reports, Tata Motors will be launching the Tigor AMT in 3–4 months. Tigor will get the AMT variants before the end of this calendar year. This comes after Tata introduced the second AMT variant (XTA) for the Tiago.

Currently, the Tigor is powered by a 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.05 Revotorq diesel engines and the transmission duty is handled by a 5-speed MT gearbox. The AMT will the same 5-speed F-Tronic which is present in the Tiago. It comes with Creep function and Sport mode. Like the Tiago, the AMT is expected to be available in the XT and XZ trims of Tigor.

The Nexon will be getting the AMT option before the end of this FY.
