Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP launched in India
JTSV (JT Special Vehicles), a Joint Venture between Tata Motors and Jayem Automotives launched its products, the Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP in India at a starting price of INR 6.39 lacs and INR 7.49 lacs (ex-showroorm, Delhi) respectively. These vehicles have 3 highlights to it — Sporty design to the exterior & interior, improved driving dynamics, enhanced engine performance.
On the outside it features a newly designed with large grille, smoked projector headlamps, vents on fender & bonnet, side skirts and 15-inch Diamond cut alloy wheels. On the inside, the cabin gets all black theme with Red accents on the AC vents, Multi-function Steering wheel wrapped in premium leather with contrast red stitching and aluminium pedals.
It gets features like Day/Night IRVM, Rear defogger, rear wiper, ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system by Harman with 8 speaker, Bluetooth connectivity, AUX-IN & USB, navigation. To improve the driving dynamics the manufacturer has reduced the ground clearance of the vehicles. The vehicle can go from 0–100 kmph in 10 seconds. It has capped a maximum speed of 160kmph.
Safety features offered include ABS with EBD, seat belt with pre-tensioner & load limiter, Dual airbag, speed sensing auto door lock and clutch lock.
These JTP products are powered by the 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron, 3-cylindered, petrol engine which is fine tuned to enhance its performance and output. This engine offers 114 PS and 150 NM of torque against the other version which offer 85 PS and 114 NM. It is offered with a 5-speed MT. The cars offer 2 driving modes — City and Sport.
