Volkswagen Ameo Pace launched

Following the recent launch of the Polo Pace, Volkswagen India have launched the Ameo Pace in the country. Similar to the Polo, the Ameo Pace comes with Volkswagen’s new 1.0-litre petrol engine.

The new engine is a 999cc, three-cylinder petrol engine producing 76hp and 95Nm of torque. Transferring the power to the wheels is a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Ameo Pace also comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine with both manual and DSG transmission options.

Just as in the Polo Pace, the Ameo Pace is based on the Comfortline trim and largely features cosmetic changes such as glossy black ORVMs and boot lip spoiler and 15" alloy wheels. The only additional feature is cruise control.
