Volkswagen launches Sport versions of its cars

Volkswagen India has launched the sport version of its Polo, Ameo and Vento in view of the upcoming FIFA sports season. The updates are just cosmetic and no mechanical changes. The Vento Sports Edition was launched in March and get a price revision now.

The cosmetic updates are the same for all the three cars and includes Glossy Black Roof Foil, Stylish Side Foil with Sport branding, Black Glossy Rear Spoiler and a faux Carbon Fibre finished ORVM cap.

The Sport Edition models are available with both Petrol and Diesel engines on the Polo, Ameo and Vento. Volkswagen also launched a marketing campaign #BeASport. Prospective customers test driving Volkswagen’s popular carlines need to participate by writing a slogan and One lucky winner shall get the chance to win a Sport edition Volkswagen car.

The Polo Sport Edition is priced at INR 6.93 lacs and the Ameo Sport Edition at INR 8.30 lacs while the Vento Sport Edition is priced at INR 10.70 lacs.
