The V90 Cross Country has been launched by Volvo in India at a price of Rs. 60 Lakh (ex-showroom India). This V90 estate shares it’s underpinnings with the S90 sedan. It comes with 4 driving modes — Eco, Comfort, Dynamic and Off-road. It is available in 6 colours — Magic Blue Metallic, Onyx Black Metallic, Crystal White Metallic, Osmium Grey Metallic, Havana Maple Brown Metallic and Bright Silver Metallic.

The design is based on Volvo’s latest design language. On the front, it features an upright grille and Thor Hammer LED DRLs. The vehicle is 4938 mm long and the ground clearance is 210 mm. Black plastic cladding over the wheel arches, skid plates on the front & rear bumpers have been added.

Features offered on the vehicle include 9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Sensus navigation, heads-up display, a panoramic sunroof, 4-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch driver display hill descent control, rain sensing wipers, memory function for driver & passenger seats and Nappa leather upholstery.

Safety features on offer include lane-keeping aid, collision warning with emergency brake assist, rear collision warning, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, park pilot assist, etc.

The V90 Cross Country uses the same but more powerful engine — a 2L, twin-turbocharged D5 engine, rated at 232 BHP & 480 Nm of torque, which will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power is sent to all the wheels through a Haldex AWD system.
