漫畫《王牌酒保》有段插曲:

調酒大師葛原隆一,帶徒弟白石賢去《王牌酒保》主角佐佐倉溜的酒吧「Eden Hall」,向其他派門調酒大師見習,徒弟點了杯調酒,一入口,就震懾於「神之杯」的功力:「即使多一滴水,都會破壞這杯調酒的完美平衡」。

Comic “Bartender” There was the episode:

A cocktail master took his apprentice to the bar “Eden Hall” to learn from another cocktail master.And the apprentice ordered a glass of cocktail to test the cocktail master of the bar “Eden Hall”. But he soon realized that the glass of cocktail contained a lot of master skills.He described the cocktail:”Even a drop of water will destroy the perfect balance of this glass of cocktail”

我喜歡《王牌酒保》漫畫,不過,我不太相信世上有「即使多一滴水都會破壞完美平衡」的飲料。

I like the description of Comic “Bartender”. However, I do not quite believe that there is a drink in the world that “even if a drop of water will destroy the perfect balance”.

啡卡咖啡,是不是台北市最好的咖啡店,見仁見智,不過,把啡卡咖啡列在咖啡迷到台北值得一去的咖啡店名單上,應該沒有問題。

Is or not Fika Fika Cafe the best cafe in Taipei? It’s a matter of opinion. However, you can put this cafe on the list of coffee shops worth visiting in Taipei for sure.

然而,在旅遊指南或社群媒體大幅介紹後,每次經過啡卡咖啡時,看上去大部分時間都客滿,甚至在附近公園看到來自日本或香港觀光客,拿著手機導航在找這家咖啡店。

After Fiki Fika Cafe was introduced by various travel guides or social media, most of the time, I saw the cafe was full of people. Even in the nearby park, I have seen tourists from Japan or Hong Kong holding mobile phones to navigate to find this coffee shop.

所以,從來都不急著談啡卡咖啡:嗯,是不錯的店,很多人都知道吧。

So, never rush to write anything about Fiki Fika Cafe: ah, it’s a good shop, a lot of people knew.

直到聽家人稱讚那杯檸檬蘇打咖啡。

Until I heard a family praise Kaffe-Lemonade of Fika Fika Cafe.

檸檬?蘇打?冰咖啡?那有甚麼難,自己做做看!

Lemon? soda? iced coffee? What’s that hard? Do it myself!

檸檬、蘇打水、冰塊,乃至於好的阿拉比卡咖啡豆,在咖啡盛行的台灣,都不難取得,關鍵是:怎樣調製一杯經得起考驗的好喝咖啡飲料?

Lemons, sodas, ice cubes, and even good Arabica beans are not difficult to obtain in Taiwan where is full of coffee lovers. The key is: How to prepare a cup of coffee that can stand up to the test?

做了幾次,仗著食材好,自覺不難喝。耐心等到夏天來臨,踏上征途,去啡卡咖啡點一杯檸檬蘇打咖啡,嚐嚐跟自己做的有甚麼不同。

Making a few times, taking advantage of the ingredients, it tasted not so bad.

Then I waited patiently for the summer to embark on the journey, go Fika Fika Cafe for a cup of Kaffe-Lemonade trying to figure out what’s different with those I made at home.

照店內人員說明攪動後入口,發現杯裡檸檬味不太一樣,酸味淡中帶甜,啊,原來檸檬要醃製,嗯,好像不是用白糖醃的,可能是蜂蜜吧。

According to the instructions of the store’s clerk, I started to drink after stirring.

Soon I found that the lemon flavor was not the same in the cup, and the sourness was less and the sweetness was delightful. Ah, the lemon slices must be pickled. Well, it seems that the lemon slices was not pickled with white sugar. It might be honey.

照漫畫《王牌酒保》調酒大師互相較勁的挑剔要點,刻意放慢飲用速度,慢慢聊天,過十五分鐘後再喝,欸,就算冰塊稍微融化,咖啡苦味與醃檸檬酸甜還是維持巧妙的平衡,依然好喝。

Following to the picky points of the comic “Bartender” cocktail masters competing against each other, deliberately slow down the drinking speed, chat slowly, drink after fifteen minutes, oh, even if the ice slightly melts, coffee bitterness and pickled citric acid sweet or maintain Clever balance, still delicious.

我不確定這杯檸檬蘇打咖啡是否達到「即使多一滴水都會破壞完美平衡」的境界,但比我自己在家做的好非常多。

I’m not sure if this cup of Kaffe-Lemonade will reach the realm of “even if a drop of water will destroy the perfect balance,” but it’s much better than those I made at home.

這算是啡卡咖啡的謎樣初夏滋味吧。
