On the 25th of May 2018 a new data protection law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect in the European Union (EU). The GDPR aims to strengthen the data protection and privacy for all individuals within the EU.

To ensure that we’re ready for the GDPR, we’ve updated our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement (EULA) to comply. We’ve also made it easier for you to comply with the GDPR as a customer of our Atlassian Marketplace Apps, Analytics for Confluence, Macro Toolbox and Poll for Confluence Cloud.

GDPR impacts Atlassian Marketplace Apps

Quick summary of our changes

  • Updated our Privacy Policy and EULA — GDPR places new obligations on organizations that process EU personal data. We have updated our business practices, Privacy Policy and EULA to better explain our customers’ and users’ rights, and their relationship with Good Software.
  • Improved clarity and transparency — We’ve made our Privacy Policy easier to understand and described our data processing practices in clear language.
  • Given more control over your information — We have made it easier for you to control the information you provide to us. Our policy explains how you can make choices about your information, and the measures we have put in place to keep your information secure.
  • Data Processing Schedule (DPS) — This is available on request as an extension to our EULA to reflect the new requirements of data processors under the GDPR.
  • New support channel for privacy questions — Created a new designated place for all GDPR, privacy and information security/compliance questions.

We hope this makes your use of our products and your transition to GDPR easier. Please read our Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement, and as always you can contact us if you have any further questions.
