A Photo-Book Of Record Stores Around The World.

A celebration of 160 record stores in 35 countries.

A project that has taken six years travelling around the world to almost 200 record stores, German photographer Bernd Jonkmanns has launched a crowd-funding campaign to help fund ‘Record Stores’ his aptly named photo-book.

Showcasing the love and passion of each store from both sides of the counter the 400 page photo-book holds 500 images from the worlds most interesting, iconic and obscure record shops from Reykjavik in Iceland to Tasmania in Australia.

As Jonkmanns says, “my photos show their love and passion for vinyl, CDs, and purchasing music in a store. This is what they all share and what really sets the tone for such stores around the globe.”
