The Bond That Binds

This was my personally connected real incident. There once was a family of five: a mother, a father, two daughters, and the sister of the father. In India, they had a contented existence.

The dad left his family behind when he left for work a while in Qatar. The mother was responsible for managing the entire home alone.
The aunt went to the market one day with her eldest daughter to buy something to eat. The mother and her little daughter were at house.

After breakfast, the younger daughter went to play outside. There was a well nearby, and the younger daughter was playing near it. She sadly slipped into the into that. She shouted out for assistance, but nobody was there to help her. She fought to escape several times, but she was unsuccessful. Eventually, she drowned.

The younger daughter’s slippers in the well were shocking to see when their mom and older daughter arrived home from the store. When they realised what was happening, they cried out and screamed for rescue. Neighbours came running and helped to retrieve the younger daughter’s body from the well. The family was devastated that their precious daughter was gone.
As soon as dad received the news, he left Qatar and came back. He was brokenhearted. He did not realise his young daughter had left.
The younger child’s last rituals was done, and the family mourning her passing. They never recovered from the disaster.
His dad returned to Qatar for work after a few days.

After two months of typical living, the family began to hear weird noises within the home. The bell on the younger daughter’s bicycle would ring by itself. Everyone in the family felt worried and questioned whether it was because their younger child was there. The elder child was conversing with someone in her room one day. When her aunt walked in, she was alone and speaking to herself. The older daughter was speaking to her sister. when her aunt questioned, she replied “It was my sister”, who she was speaking to. The aunt was taken aback and unsure of what to do.

They were discussing about the weird things going on in the house. So, they decided to call the saint and asked for the solution. When the saint spoke to the younger daughter’s spirit, she expressed a desire to be with her parents. When the mother heard this, she was broken down. The saint performed some rituals to help the younger daughter’s soul rest in peace.

Strange occurrences then halted. The family was devastated to lose their child, but they were also happy that her spirit had finally found peace. A family lost their little girl in this terrible story, but they eventually found peace. It reminds us that even though we may lose loved ones, we can rely on their spirits being with us.

The tale advises people to exercise caution around water sources like drains, Wells etc., and serves as a lesson for kids about the risks of the water.
The tale also serves as a reminder that there is always cause for optimism, even in the most dire circumstances. And this shows that even the most trying situations may bring about recovery.
