1. The Untethered Soul

This beautiful, deep book by Michael Singer truly opens your eyes to seeing the world through a new light.

It is a profound reminder that we can choose to stay open no matter what life brings. That staying open should always be the answer, no matter how much we think we need to close.

We can constantly choose to let go, to let tension pass through us without letting it control our lives and make us live from a low-frequency.

This book has become my own Bible, so much so that I have listed it as number one.

2. A New Earth

Similar to the above, Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth offers a new way to see the world. It offers complex concepts that make you think very deeply about consciousness, and allows us to recognize that any form of suffering is our own straying from awareness.

The mission of this book is to spread this form of awareness throughout the world, awakening people from the clouded and harmful realities they are living in.

In short, the message being that coming back to the present moment is the answer to life.

3. Think Like A Monk

Jay Shetty has taken the self-help world by storm in his novel ways to incorporate the traditional monk lifestyle into our everyday lives. This book offers a step down from the spiritual realm, taking the more practical and digestible form of self-help if you are in the market for a less spiritual option.

He takes old-school stories and wisdom from the Vedas and communicates them in a way that we can all relate to. His description and remedies for the “monkey mind” is one of my favorite takeaways.

I encourage you to read the book for many more ways to challenge the toxic pressures of today’s society, and learn tangible ways to channel peace and gratitude to improve your everyday life.

4. The Four Agreements

Although short and a very quick read, don’t let the number of pages make you question its profound impact.

The Four Agreements offers a simple, four-step route to alter your mindset in everyday life. By being impeccable with your word, not taking anything personally, refraining from making assumptions and always doing your best.

Easy right?

Although seemingly simple, is far easier said than done. Regardless, this book provides necessary wisdom for us all along our journeys towards living a life of bliss and contentment.

5. The Obstacle Is The Way

Finally, taking the more logical route if spirituality isn’t your vibe, yet still offering a similar message to the rest.

Ryan Holiday encourages us all to embrace and lean into challenges, seeing struggles as an opportunity rather than a hinderance. He reminds us that we all have the will to keep moving, that there will be no perfect instance to start something, but taking action is always an available option.

All of these books offer a similar message, simply expressed in different ways:

The quality of your mind determines the quality of your life.

Mindset is everything, and the more we learn how we can strengthen our mindset and absorb these wise perspectives on life, the better our lives will be as a result.

We have the power to practice awareness, practice living from a high frequency, and take our life by the reigns by channeling our everlasting internal freedom.

And these books are a wonderful way to help you stay on this path.

Happy reading:)
