The difference between good and evil is an illusion. It is a fine line many cross without knowing; others do it intentionally.

I’m a pretty deep thinker and was recently lost in thinking about what could make a good or innocent person get incarcerated.

  • What awful mistake could have caused that occurrence?
  • Doesn’t that mean it is possible to confuse good for evil and vice versa?
  • What if we unintentionally act up when we mean well?

Could This Even be a Thing?

I recently read the story of an aged American man who was incarcerated for a crime he never committed.

Glynn Simons spent 48 years in juvenile prison for a crime he never committed.

This is slightly unrelated. But if an innocent man could be convicted and serve time for a crime he never committed, then a reasonable person can easily make a wrong decision without knowing it.

In this case, the Judge was wrong for finding him guilty when he was certainly not guilty. And no, the cops are not free. They were also wrong.
