Love Beyond Kindness
POEM
In the quiet hush of morning’s breath,
where the sun kisses the horizon gently,
I see you.
Not in the fleeting gestures of kindness
that speak in polite tongues,
but in the unwavering gaze
that holds the universe still.
Love, they say, is a simple act,
a gentle whisper in the ear of the mundane,
yet ours is a symphony
played in the echoes of stardust and dreams.
Beyond the touch of a comforting hand,
there lies a realm where hearts converse,
where words are shadows
and silence, a sonnet of two souls entwined.
We dance, not in the shallow waters
of mere affection,
but in the deep, uncharted seas
of a bond forged in the fires of time.
In your eyes, I find the stories
of a thousand forgotten yesterdays,
and the promise of endless tomorrows,
a love that transcends kindness,
a love that is, simply,
beyond.
