The Adventures of Anthony and Gadget: Halloween Ready!
The boys are Halloween-ready! Are you?
Boo!!!!! Did I scare yah? :)
I’m starting to feel the chill in the air. Halloween is near, and fun festivities await us!
The main thing I love about Halloween is decorating the house and making everything look spooky.
The candy is a bonus!
This will be Gadgets’ second Halloween with us since he came home last year after disappearing for 7 months.
With Anthony’s best buddy Gadget back, the boys are elated to be back together. I cannot wait to do our planned fun fall festivities.
Jack and Sally have come to town to visit! How splendid!
Below are some fun ways that we plan to spend starting today, 10–24–23/ 11–1–23
1. Playing with the Halloween sensory bin I made using black beans and dollar store items. Anthony loves this bin!
2. Carving our pumpkins into an awesome jack-o’-lantern, or using a sharpie marker on them:)
3. Telling spooky stories but not too spooky to cause nightmares! 13 days of Halloween Nightmare before Christmas countdown!
4. The Fall Book Club! Fun mini-prizes await!
Gadget loves his pumpkin! I saw them cuddling and immediately ran to my phone to capture this endearing moment!
And the rest of the activities are below! I’ll make sure to post updates!
5. Watching family Halloween movies like Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School
6. Baking cookies and treats
7. Roasting marshmallows over a fire
8. Making Halloween arts and crafts
9. We are planning a fun mini-Halloween party to finish the night.
10. We will do trick or treating in the house and use different rooms for Anthony to knock on the door to receive candy.
11. Potential outing to visit pumpkin patches this weekend!
There’s so much fun on Halloween, but we always have to remember to be thankful and careful.
My son and I read the Bible together, and we like to watch podcasts of people on YouTube, like Nick Jones, talking about the Bible and helping us understand the word.
It’s fun to dress up in costumes and pretend to be something else for the night.
I might stuff my face with Reese's peanut butter cups (it’s becoming an addiction. I’m concerned). Hahaha, I’ll slow down…for now.
Comment below what you will do this Halloween. If you have any plans, I’d love to know!
