The Essence of a Worthy Life: Living the Core Principles of One’s Life Every Moment

“There are three constants in life… change, choice and principles.” — Stephen Covey

--

Namaste, my brothers and sisters,

God bless you and your loved ones.

Right now I am re-reading the evergreen classic, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Dr. Stephen Covey…

…the wisdom contained in the book, especially in its chapter 2, “Begin with the End in Mind” is just invaluable.

I would strongly recommend each of you to read (or re-read) this classic.

Now, based on what I learned here, I request you to do the following:

Start defining the core principles of your life on the basis of an eternal and changeless core. That core, according to me, can only be God.

Thereafter, each moment in life, live according to those principles.

While doing so, do not try to please man (and society by corollary)…for man is fickle by the very nature.

Your life will gradually start feeling truly worthy from within.

Just begin doing it — you will realise this divine truth yourself.

That’s why Confucius said, “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.”

Stay blessed always,

The Uplifting Essayist
