In celebration of February and all the love that’s in the air, here’s a must-see for romantics: Leap Year (2010). With a stunning cast, including Mathew Goode and Amy Adams, this film is a fun romcom classic — a perfect fit for this leap year.
Leap Year follows the Irish tradition of Bachelor’s Day (aka, Ladies’ Privilege), where women have the opportunity to propose on the 29th of February. The main character, Anna, plans to surprise her boyfriend on this special day in Ireland. However, her arrival in Ireland is met with a series of unexpected events that complicate her plans and ultimately lead to a twist of fate.
