For the habitats destroyed at such a cost.
We’ve taken without giving back,
But now we vow to get back on track.
- We built towering cities, but forgot to protect,
- Your fragile ecosystems, we failed to connect.
- We exploited your riches, without a second thought, Now facing consequences, lessons hard-fought.
- Dear Earth, sorry for the scars we've made,
For forests razed and oceans frayed.
We've plundered your riches without a thought,
In our endless pursuit of what we sought.
- From mountains high to valleys low,
We've altered your landscape, don't you know?
With every step, we've left our mark,
But now we see, it's time to embark.
