1. GoodDollar’s New Roadmap Launch
On the Community Call in August, GoodDollar launched its new roadmap, detailing ambitious plans for ecosystem expansion. The roadmap focuses on three key areas: driving G$ utility, advancing GoodDollar’s circular economy, and scaling the community.
The Roadmap focuses on pathways that invite our broader community to shape the future of GoodDollar that they want to see, furthering the mission of creating a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive financial future for all.

2. Gitcoin Grants 18 Recap
GoodCollective had the opportunity to participate in the Climate Solutions Track for Gitcon Grants 18 this season. For those who are new here, the Gitcoin Grants Program is a quarterly initiative designed to boost funding for web3 projects that the community cares about. Using Quadratic Funding (QF), the program amplifies individual donations to make a bigger impact.
Funds from GG18 will go directly towards Conservation Basic Income in G$ payouts for pilot programs (DeTrash and Silvi), amplifying incentives for environmental stewards to engage in meaningful climate impact. A portion will also be strategically reinvested into GoodCollective’s future deployment and project management costs.
Thanks to all who contributed, GoodCollective exited the Quadratic Funding round as the 11th project with 248 votes and $802.61 raised (before QF matching).

3. HaloFi Savings Challenge Recap
We brought back everyone’s favorite savings challenge for a 2nd round in August. Running from August 16th — September 13th, the HaloFi challenge saw our savvy community members learning and making the most of the high-yield savings challenge with both larger and more on-time deposits! Heading into the final week of the savings challenge, 567 users won the challenge, and a total of 52,514,497.64 G$ ($9,820.21 USD) was deposited into the challenge pool.

Good Labs has posted a proposal to deploy new LayerZero and Axelar bridges to facilitate interoperability between Ethereum mainnet and Celo and Fuse. Discussion on Discourse is happening now.
