GoodDollar Director Anna Stone took the stage to share the inspiring story from GoodDollar’s Brazil Lead, Christiane Mendes, highlighting how crypto is revolutionizing economic development through #CryptoUBI. Chris’s journey is a powerful example of how individuals in economically challenging environments are leveraging crypto tools to foster community commerce, proving that the impact of crypto is both profound and far-reaching. 🌎 We’re passionate about addressing real-world problems, and our session vividly illustrated the potential of crypto to drive economic development!
In addition to our main talk, we participated in a thought-provoking discussion about using peer-to-peer money for financial inclusion. GoodDollar’s Executive Director, Anna Stone, engaged with Web3 innovators and traditional finance representatives during the Blockchian for Good Unconference. After the event, our sponsor’s happy hour hosted interesting conversations about cryptoUBI and the potential for crypto for good.
