1. The Prosperity Grants Program is LIVE!
The Prosperity Grants Program kicks off Season 1 with 422,106,128.145 G$ ($75,000 USD) of available funding distributed across four grant categories to support innovation using GoodDollar in the Celo ecosystem.
Grant categories are designed to back a wide range of initiatives and accommodate a diverse group of contributors, from educators to developers, all unified by a mission to drive economic inclusivity and financial literacy.

2. Gitcoin Grants 18 Official Results
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to GoodDollar during Gitcoin Grants GG18!
For those who are new here, the Gitcoin Grants Program is a quarterly initiative designed to boost funding for web3 projects that the community cares about. Using Quadratic Funding (QF), the program amplifies individual donations to make a bigger impact.
GoodDollar came in 7th with 120 unique contributions, providing a total matching of $7,293 DAI. The matching amount and contributions will go toward funding the GoodCollective to further climate impact and segmented UBI capabilities, such as distributing Conservation Basic Income in G$ for pilot programs, amplifying incentives for environmental stewards to engage in meaningful climate impact, and creating segmented UBI pools. A portion will also be strategically reinvested into GoodCollective’s future deployment and project management costs.

3. Donate to GoodDollar DAO during Giveth’s Quadratic Funding Round
Giveth is running its very own Quadratic Funding (QF) round on Optimism!
Starting October 9th, donate any amount to GoodDollar DAO on the Optimism network to qualify the DAO for the $25,000 QF matching pool on Optimism.
Your contribution goes towards funding GoodDollar micro-grants to support changemakers who are using GoodDollar to improve their lives.

4. Vote for GoodDollar in Octant Epoch 1
From October 19th - October 31st GoodDollar will be participating in Octant’s Epoch 1.
Octant is a public goods funding platform that allows GLM token holders to vote and fund public good projects.
In order to participate, swap to $GLM and stake 100 $GLM before October 19th in Octant to unlock governance voting power. Vote for GoodDollar and help support a public goods UBI ecosystem.

5. Climate Week Recap
During Climate Week, the GoodDollar team ✨ showed up ✨ at major events. Lauren Serota presented the GoodCollective at ReFi NYC. Meanwhile, GoodDollar’s Executive Director and Founder, Anna Stone, showcased GoodDollar’s commitment to climate impact and delivering segmented UBI capabilities at the Transformative Impact Summit.
Social media all-star, Raphael Racor, repped the team at ReFi Lisbon, demonstrating GoodDollar’s potential impact on local economies.
6. $5,000 in Prizes for the Superfluid October Wave Pool Hackathon
