Woah, that flew by quickly, it’s been one whole year since we launched our first savings pool here at GoodGhosting 😱. Since then we have helped our community save a whopping $2.6 million, that’s a lot of good financial habits being forged! But it only gets better, we are celebrating our one year anniversary by kicking off our first ever tournament of saving challenges!🥳

We are kicking off a Summer Tournament of six pools — complete as many as you can to maximise the returns for yourself, and the rest of the GG community. First pool launching this Fri at 2pm UTC.

1 Tournament, 6 Savings Pools, 2 Months and Tons of Rewards!
What’s a saving tournament I hear you ask? We have a mini season of pools ready for you to dive into. Here you will get all the GoodGhosting magic you are used to, amazing returns for good savers, NFTs, POAPs and GG scores, but we are introducing something brand new for the tournament, a Pool Pass!
The pool pass is a reward system that you progress along each time you successfully complete a pool.
At the end of the tournament, we will be sending out all the rewards earned by your pass.
Complete all six saving pools? You are going to win big by claiming all of the rewards in the pass. Hit silver and claim the rewards silver and down.
In total we have up to $90K of incentives, including the individual pool’s sponsorship and pool pass bonuses — if we get the top number of users 😱(see below).
🚨Important Note: As this tournament is multichain; Celo and Polygon, please use a wallet address that works on both of those chains — MetaMask is a good option.

The more the merrier
But there is even more, the more medalists (savers who hit the top three tiers in the Pool Pass) the greater the end of tournament bonus will be for all. Invite your friends and get them busy saving this summer!
We have a prize pool that increases with the number of medalists, with a percentage of the rewards going to Bronze, Silver and Gold winners. The exact amounts per person depend on the number of winners in each tier, but roughly speaking, we have modelled an example here. As you can see as we approach the magic number of 10,000* medalists, the rewards get more and more juicy!
*note after this number the amount of prizes will not increase, so per person it will decrease.

One year of Goodghosting 🥳
But before you don your sunglasses, we have an extra special pool to open with, our One Year Anniversary Saving pool!
Yes those of you who have been with us since the beginning will know we launched our first ever saving pool on June 10th 2021 — our Beta Pool. Capped at 200 players, we have certainly grown over the year — our most recent, “Fight the Bear” pool drawing in 6,000 players, but this is where it all started.
To celebrate our community on both Polygon and Celo, we have a friendly little rivalry pool to toast our first year of onchain savings, we are launching a saving pool on both:
- Save 20 cUSD per week on Celo, or
- Save 20 DAI per week on Polygon
We are very lucky to have both MATIC and CELO as sponsored incentives for this pool.
And we will be sponsoring more, the bigger the pool. For both the Polygon and Celo pool, we will be increasing the sponsorship at:
- 500 players
- 1000 players
- 2000 player
- 3000 player
- 4000 players
- And the max sponsorship at 5000 players!

With so much to celebrate, we have planned a Launch Party, here we will be raising a toast to one year saving on GoodGhosting, diving into the details of the tournament as well as putting our knowledge to the test in a pop quiz!
