GoodKnocking Radio Shows Now Available As Podcasts

Marvel&Friends, hosted by Mistah Marvel, and OffTheFeed, hosted by CocoTheVirgo and Darren J are now well on their way through yet another summer of great shows. To make this new journey with our shows even better, we announced earlier in May that both shows are now available as podcasts on iTunes and the Google Play Music store.

The move comes after months of developing Marvel&Friends into a regular show for interviews of prominent and up-and-coming entrepreneurs, brands, and people of high regard in the Bay area community. The problem identified, however, was that once the show began its regularity on Monday nights (and then afternoon), many potential listeners were not able to catch the live broadcast on air. And so the research began on how to optimize our shows to deliver them on the regular, whether our loyal listeners were able to catch it live or not. And so, our podcast trek began.

Now 6 episodes into a returned and revamped OffTheFeed, listeners can choose their preference on how to tune in — whether it be iTunes or Google Play Music (we must point out that iPhone devices are not capable of getting the podcasts in the Google Play Music app, so even if downloaded you will not be able to access OffTheFeed). The move has not only sparked renewed enthusiasm into the show, but has allowed for conversations, content, and more to extend beyond just our weekly Tuesday night show. Additionally, it allows for people to catch up and learn more about the special guests who make their appearances on Mistah Marvel’s show.

One example, being Shaniqua Martin, one of two of our May Features of the Month. Shaniqua made her appearance on May 15th’s episode of Marvel&Friends as a guest and was brought to the Bay area listeners view all the way from Jersey City, NJ to speak about her inspirational and motivational YouTube Channel, NuMindFrame.

“GoodKnocking Radio is still live with our shows, both Monday at 8:30 as well as Tuesday at 8:30pm” said Mistah Marvel. “But now giving the opportunity for listeners to subscribe and receive immediate updates on our show releases allows more encouragement for them to tune in live when we’re actually on air. The move is a win-win.”
