7 Outdoor Wifi Cafes Near Shibuya, Tokyo for Remote Work
Although summer in Tokyo is unbearable hot midday, it’s pleasant and refreshing in the evening. Any local, visitor, expat, traveler, or digital nomad can take their laptops to one of these 7 outdoor spaces around Harajuku, Shibuya, Daikanyama, and Roppongi, and get work done under a sunset in the warm summer breeze.
Harajuku Area
Starbucks Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku
This Starbucks is on the top of Tokyu Plaza with a view overlooking the Omotesando intersection. Make sure to go here on a weekday, or very early on a weekend, because this place gets crowded quickly. However, large staircases double as seating area on the terrace, so you’ll never have to wait too long for a seat. The WIFI signal reaches outdoors, but you’ll have to go inside and grab a counter seat if you need to charge.
In summer months, you’ll find a truck parked on the terrace selling special Japanese beer and appetizers.
