Oprah swears by it

Oprah Winfrey does it.

In her immensely popular graduation speech at Cal, Sheryl Sandberg encourages all of us to do it before going to sleep at night.

Over 1.3 million people have watched David Steindl-Rast explain in his TED Talk how it can make us happier.

How to be like Oprah?

We can all be like Oprah. My friend Courtney Jenkins has started a jar for her family whereby they write them down to be read at the end of the year.

What is this secret recipe? Express gratitude. Can gratitude / gratefulness make us happier and not the other way round i.e. happiness making us grateful? Or is gratitude only the latest buzzword that will end up being more a fad than a trend?

On World Gratitude Day, one question: What are you grateful for — can be little things or big things? We are grateful to be able to write this. We have made it fun for you to capture your grateful moments at GoodRipple. Open the App and start sharing!

Tell us if you feel like Oprah 🙂

Happy GoodRippling!
