It’s our 4th anniversary! — End of an era is the beginning of a new one

Aasha hai aapka jeevan kushal mangal roop se vyateet ho raha hai… Ek varsh upraant, apni varshgaanth ke uplaksh mein hum punah aapko ek patr likh rahein hain, aapke is patr ko padhne par humein atyant prasannta ki anubhooti hogi avem hum aapka hriday se aabhar, abhinandan karenge, aaiye prarambh karte hain.
Google Developers Group Cloud New Delhi turns 4 years young today! The memory is still quite fresh in our minds when 3 total strangers, Pranay Nanda, Sakshi Shukla, and Amen Tyagi, met for the first time at a GDG New Delhi event in Saket, New Delhi, and later went for a casual lunch afterward which turned out to be new inception of our wonderful community. A lot has changed since then, we’ve grown immensely and so have our team members. Our love and gratitude towards the community and everyone who has been a part of this journey over the years with us have only flourished even more.
Our favourite friend and mentor of the community, Pranay Nanda, has moved on to a new role in his professional career, for which he had to wave us all goodbye with a heavy heart. We undoubtedly will miss his quirky, creative ideas and leadership style. We wish him all the best for his new adventures with the hope that we would cross our paths again.
Like the title says, an ending marks a new beginning. We now have a new Co-organiser whom we’d love for you to meet in person very soon, Swati Singh, Systems Engineer at Cisco. Swati brings a new spark of energy and vibrance to our community. We have big and exciting plans for this upcoming year and we can’t wait to share all of them with you!
With that said, we are thrilled to announce that after 2 long years, we’re finally bringing back in-person events. We’re sure that you all have missed us just as much as we did. Online events are great and probably more convenient too but the ambiance, energy, vibes, networking opportunities, and the pizzas at the in-person events are better in our opinion.
We intend to come back with a bang and bring our community to new heights with your support. We’ve got a slot for one more co-organizer in our team as of now. If you’re a Cloud Professional, preferably Google certified, and have at least 5 years of work experience in the cloud industry then we’d love to have a chat with you!
Our founding co-organizers have proudly led us to this moment, this day and now with your support, we’re stepping into a new era with all the learnings that we have gained over the years. We’re grateful to each and every one of you for joining and supporting us on this journey and we look forward to your continuous support as we all learn and grow together.
