GDG Cloud New Delhi is the place for the cloud developers and architects to come together to learn , discuss and explore cloud technologies. Our community has always worked in an inclusive environment where anyone with no age restriction as well as no threshold of knowledge and qualifications can come and share their views about cloud and technology. From beginners to experienced professionals, we welcome all those people in the community who have the urge to learn and use that knowledge to continue the cycle of learning and spreading knowledge, and this has somewhat made us come along the path of success. With the incredible growth and reach, 2019 has proved to be a phenomenal year for us. Tremendous increase in percentage of followers, the graphs touching their peak and a good number of qualitative events remarked the community growth and enabled us to keep up the spirit high, follow our beliefs and maintain that motivation throughout the year.
From Devfest to Cloud Community Day, from offline meetups to online series, we organized many such events with the simultaneous talent trove where 2019 treasured some of the talented leaders and novice students who became a part of our family. The year 2019 is evident of our years worth of hardwork and dedication which made us reach such great heights .
With all the calculations and statistics of 2019 , has 2-made our belief strong and held our spirit high . It mainly includes:
- Events : We managed to successfully conduct 7 offline and 6 online events.
- Community reach is touching new heights where it has increased by 2100 in number since last year.
- LinkedIn followers broke the record with the increase of 1426% since last year.
- Twitter is nowhere behind LinkedIn where we touched almost 1200 followers.
- A good amount of succession was also noticed on Facebook . We got an 88% increase in the number of followers in 2019.
- YouTube and Medium also stand out with the increase in the followers .
Well apart from the achievements , the community started many qualitative programs and facilitations which focused on learning cloud computing and cloud technologies with the exposure to open source technologies and its use:

- Github and open source support
- Coffee on Cloud online Series
These programs also enabled us to remain connected with the students and aspirants during the pandemic and enable us to help them with our knowledge as much as possible so that they get to learn during this time.
Also, the community has its strength in building the strong pillars so that people can trust over them and rely upon them. Hey you! Summing up, the journey of GDG Cloud as a community has been a rollercoaster ride, the exuberance and the enthusiasm among current community members and volunteers has been overwhelming.
