Query Google Cloud metrics with Prometheus Query Language

Did you know that you can use PromQL (Prometheus Query Language) to show yours and Google Cloud metrics and define alerts in Google Cloud?

Today you can emit your own Prometheus metrics (including Prometheus exemplars) and have them stored in Google Cloud and then query it using the Prometheus compatible tools such as Grafana or using Cloud Console. You can create Cloud Monitoring custom dashboards and alerts while using familiar PromQL expressions. Read more about ways to use PromQL in Google Cloud.
