This spreadsheet has the same layout as a traditional weekly planner.

Last year, I made a template. That one hasn’t changed for this year. All I did was update the dates. I did add a version where the week starts on Sunday. Mine starts on Monday, but that doesn’t mean everyone else’s weeks also do.

How it works

There are four tabs:

  • Monthly and yearly goals: Here, you’ll jot down your bigger objectives, goals, or whatever you want to accomplish for the year. Then, think about and write out what you can do, per month, to get closer to attaining these goals. Jot it all down.
  • Status: The dropdown menus in the “Weekly planner” tab show a bunch of emojis. In the “Status” tab, you decide which emojis or statuses you’d like to show and choose from. Use the dummy statuses I inserted in fields B3 to B12. Or overwrite and delete them, and write down your own.
