【1】Let’s Take a Look at the Art, YO!

Last time, I made a high-profile declaration of my artistic philosophy to the public. But to be honest, I was quite struggling with what to share and spent a lot of time yelling “asshole” to the sea.

Anyway, assuming that many of my readers would be outside the art field, I wrote a story about art history halfway through. However, I decided to reject it.

Art history is very important in understanding what art is. It is as essential as being told “where the goal is” when playing soccer, or “what color is the watchman wearing today” when shoplifting. But I wasn’t in the mood to write about it.

It felt somewhat clichéd for me to take the trouble to re-explain something that could have been written on some art-related website. (However, I will do that soon, as there are some things I can’t talk about until after you understand art history.)
