February Really F*cking Sucks for You

ghosts appear because they’re lonely and Valentine’s Day is during the coldest month of the year, watching the news, #stayinghome is healthy and the flu isn’t all you can catch in February

because of the the ‘covic! dying happens more than ever and, because you’re old, you remember flu bugs went around anyway, ‘covic, no ‘covic!

making tea and heating your room is effort, phone calls and texting are effort, being uninspired is suddenly contagious and you take the bus because you don’t have a car

keeping yourself company, knowing full well you’ re not good company, dieting and eating chocolate after, this, and not much else, is what you do best in February.
