What you want when it comes to a church website theme!

We asked and you told us!

In a poll we conducted earlier this week about what churches are most looking for when it comes to a website theme, the overwhelming majority of you are looking, first and foremost, for responsive themes.

And this is hardly surprising! In 2014, mobile overtook desktop as the primary way people access the internet. This means that if your church’s website isn’t optimised for mobile devices, you’re potentially missing out on more than half of your web traffic!

In this fast-paced age where digital consumers are looking for a quick answer or immediate solution, churches can no longer afford to be maintaining a website designed to be viewed on a desktop screen, that becomes clunky, cumbersome or unreadable on a phone or mobile device.

But, never fear — we have a solution! At Gospel Powered, all our website themes are responsive, meaning the user will enjoy a stunning, fit-for-purpose website experience, whether they’re using a mobile or a desktop to browse the internet.

Very soon we’ll be able to start showcasing our brand new theme, and we think you’ll love it! Our new website theme will, of course, be a responsive template, but as well as that, it will be easy to customise your page layouts to achieve the look you’re wanting (the second-highest response in the poll we mentioned earlier), and be a powerful framework with lots of options to make your website interactive, engaging, and do what you want it to do (the third-highest response from our poll)!

We’re working hard to build website themes that are specifically tailored to the needs of your church. We get church, we get ministry, and we’re working hard to develop a new theme that will meet all of your church’s online needs — watch this space!
