There is always something a triathlete “needs” so you can bet they’ll be over the moon if you wrap up something triathlon-related for them this Christmas. Whether you’re looking for a show stopping gift or a stocking filler, we have put together a triathlete’s list for Father Christmas. *Hopefully our families read this too…

Make a splash

If you’re looking to spoil someone with a luxury gift or you’re just going for the essentials, then we’re sure you’ll find something on this list. With each item, there are variations of brand and product available.

Dry Robe

The ultimate post-swim change robe and towel changing robe, Dryrobe makes getting to and from the open water or outdoor pool much more manageable. Whether you’re walking down to the open-air pool on a training camp, or like Ross Edgley who swam around Britain, this is a cosy gift that will keep on giving…

There are a few options available when it comes to the brand Dryrobe…

Advanced Long Sleeve (£165) As shown in picture

Advanced Short Sleeve (£145)

Towel dryrobe (£60)

Take the techy route

GPS device [watch or cycling computer]

Data hungry triathletes like to track EVERYTHING, and then put it on Strava. So to aid and abet this habit, you could gift the data capturing tech!

A triathlon GPS watch is an all-in-one option, capturing your swim, bike, run and multi-sport. Many of the newer products have wrist heart rate technology and smart features such as notifications (calendar, email, messages, whatsapp, etc). Great for training and racing, you can’t go wrong.

Our choice is the Garmin 945:

A cycling computer is different. As it says on the tin, it is for cycling only. For any triathlete or cyclist looking to track rides, plan routes or train within zones on the bike, a cycling computer is a fantastic training companion.

Our recommendation is Garmin (again) — which model? (520, 810, 820, 1000, 1030) Depends on preference and spend. All available on wiggle here.

The experience options

Cycling kit

Nothing gets cyclists back on the bike quicker than new kit! Give your loved one something that will not only inspire them to go the extra miles new year, but will be a joy to ride in.

This new quality kit from Got To Tri, manufactured by cyclists SaddleDrunk.

Be seen next season for all the right reasons!

Triathlon Training Camp

Christmas is best when a gift just keeps on giving. How about treating your loved one to a Triathlon Camp (or gift voucher) this Winter? A perfect motivator under the tree to keep them going through the off-season and really you’d be gifting them the best start possible for their 2024 season.

We have week or long-weekend camps designed for every athlete. Build confidence and fitness in warmer climes, learn valuable technique and gather insight from our coaches and growing community. Plus have a lot of fun!

Winter Warmers

Less likely to break the bank, here are our go-to gifts for triathletes to keep them motivated and warm throughout the off-season!

Castelli Gabba Jacket

A perfect jacket for cold weather, thanks to the use of Gore Windstopper fabric. The Castelli Gabba got 5* from Cycling Weekly and is a must have piece of kit for winter riding.

Keeping your feet toasty on Winter rides makes the whole experience far more enjoyable. Like gloves, there are a range of different overshoes to choose from. This guide from road.cc is great to get you started.
