Our publication aims to create a community of writers that promote the voice of students and graduates as well as focusing on our commitment to closing the ‘relationship gap’ that emerging talent experience as they start their career journey.

We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to write a story for our publication that fits with our aims. We’d particularly love to hear from individuals who are current students or recent graduates and would like to share their thoughts on a topic they are passionate about.

To write for us, simply send us an email to hello@gotdis.io with your Medium @ username so we can add you as a writer. Follow this link for help on how to submit your story to our publication once you’ve been added as a writer. All stories will be reviewed before being published so we can ensure the content is appropriate for our publication.

What are we looking for?

We don’t like to have too many rules! Ideally we’d like to build a community of emerging writers that see this as an opportunity to share their insight and gain experience of writing for a publication. You can also add the links to your stories to your CV which will help you stand out from other candidates when trying to kickstart your career after studying.

Our main sections are focused on student advice and career advice, aimed predominantly towards student and graduate readers. However, we’d love content on any topics that you think may appeal to this audience. We’re passionate about ensuring our writers and audience are from diverse backgrounds. We are particularly committed to having a positive impact on social mobility so would welcome any content from people who may be the first person in their family to go to university. To learn a bit more about what social mobility is and the barriers it creates, please follow this link to learn about the great work the Social Mobility Foundation do.

We want the stories in our publication to have a positive influence on our audience. If we think any content may be received negatively or may be a breach of someone’s copyright, then it will be rejected. We’re also not looking for people or companies selling their products or services but if you have some useful advice or insight to share that might be helpful for our audience, then feel free to contact us.

Please also refer to Medium’s Terms of Service in case you want more details on using the site.

We look forward to hearing from you!
