Our Customer Success team members are experts at helping businesses get started with TeamUp. Odds are they’ve moved many customers over from whatever system you’re currently using.

Step 1: Set up your account

Sign up for a TeamUp account, and then add your classes and memberships. It’s easy, and we’re here to help. Setting up a whole TeamUp account can take as little as 10 minutes.

Step 2: Send us your data

Get your data from your old service provider.

We’ll send you a simple template to show you what is required. We will help you if you get stuck, so don’t worry about this step. Before you start, we will chat through which reports you will need, and we can even do this for you in some circumstances.

Step 3: We’ll run your import

We’ll check the data, and do all the work to bring it into your new TeamUp account.

Important: Customers won’t be aware if this process at all until you’re ready to go live. Their existing payments will continue to run on your current system until you’re ready as well.

Step 4 (Optional): Import payment details

Securely import customers’ payment details.

For payment processors that we support we can usually important live payment authorisations directly into TeamUp. The process is simple whether we do or not, this just reduces a step for your customers, so we always try to do it if we can.

Step 5: Go Live

This is the first time your customers will be aware of the change. We will advise you on the best way to communicate the change to TeamUp.

Once you are live, you can run your business with your new, easy to use software. You’ll be able to use TeamUp on any device you like. Contact our friendly support team anytime we can help you.

FAQs

What do my customers see during this process?

Your customers won’t see anything about the change until Step 5: Go live. Once you’re live, customers will receive a welcome email with a link to set up a password.

Once they set up a password they are taken straight to their account where they will find their membership already set up, with the correct dates and usage.

How long is my free trial?

Your free trial lasts 30 days, starting from when you go live. You have unlimited time to set up your account before going live.

How much is the import service?

We offer this service for free as part of your account set up. No hidden charges.

Can you import from MindBody? Can you import from another service provider?

We import regularly from MindBody and many other systems. We have experience of most of them having been performing imports for over 5 years. Just ask and we will be happy to run through the process with you.
