GovCamp North centres around a community of people who are passionate about building better public services to improve people’s lives. We aim to break down boundaries between people and to help wider conversations happen. We believe that conversation can be the catalyst for change.

At GovCamp North we aim to bring together the government community in the North of England, giving a space to think radically about the problems that we are facing.

Who should attend?

· Government, public service, and third sector employees — whether you are representing your employer or attending as an individual

· Elected representative and politicians — at any level

· Private sector organisations and freelancers — if you are linked in any way with government and/or public services

· Citizens, members of the public, everyone else! — As a citizen or resident of the UK, public services affect you, and your opinion and views matter. It is important that they get voiced. Please do come along and join in!

When is it?

GovCamp North is being held online on Thursday 15 October 2020

What next?

We want you to register your interest for a ticket, so that we can ensure the right mix of roles, experience and interests to achieve the objectives of the event. We also want to ensure our attendees share their learnings with their teams, communities and across the public sector. The environment will be safe and inclusive, as well as engaging and focused.

As much as we would love to have you join us, unfortunately we cannot guarantee you a place.

This is because we will be reaching out and promoting ticket application so that the most diverse range of people have the opportunity to participate. To help us do this, we are asking optional questions on diversity and inclusion.

We will also:

  • publish the results at an aggregate level, for the ticket application, tickets and attendees
  • provide a lists of twitter IDs
  • licence the data appropriately so anyone can access, use and share it
  • ask you to confirm that you will be taking up your ticket (if you have been successful)
  • reassign any unclaimed tickets

We want the event to be representative and space is limited, so we’re running an application system for tickets to ensure we have diversity of attendees.

Interested?

  • If you want to attend, save the date, 15th October, in your diary 📅.
  • You can apply for a ticket here.

We can’t wait to hear from you!
