I Told You That Not Voting Because You Didn’t Like Either Candidate Was A Really Dumb Idea!

The People Who Didn’t Vote Are The Reason We’re In This Mess Right Now

If those people who said,

  • I don’t like either candidate so I won’t vote and I’ll let other people decide if we get the lesser of two evils or the greater of two evils

had actually said,

  • I don’t like either candidate but I’m voting for Harris as the lesser of two evils because Trump is the greater of two evils

we wouldn’t be in this mess right now.

Your Not-Voting Protest Was Totally Ineffective

Yes, by not voting for either candidate as a protest you really showed them! Your refusing to vote for either candidate will certainly make the political parties run better candidates next time. Right?

Not really.

And if in the future the parties continue to run candidates who fail to meet your exacting standards, well you can continue to withhold your vote in yet another futile protest.

When You Don’t Vote, Others Pick Your Leaders For You

And in that case you will continue to be governed by the leaders others choose for you, people like Donald Trump.

Your refusing to vote for Harris means that the people who actually did show up and vote gave us Donald Trump.

So, how’s that “I’m not voting for either one. That’ll show them” protest vote working out for you?

You Have Only Yourself To Blame

You have only yourselves to blame for whatever pain Trump and his followers inflict on you and your family.

Here is the reality: If you don’t get off your ass and pick the lesser of two evils, other people will turn the country over to the greater of two evils.

2026 Elections

Going forward, wouldn’t it be nice if those folks who in the past refused to vote for the lesser of two evils came to realize that sitting on their asses just guarantees that the people who actually do vote may well continue to give us leaders like Donald Trump.

If You Aren’t Worried, You’re Not Paying Attention

And if you don’t think that putting people like Donald Trump in power is a problem, I would remind you that you cannot overestimate the harm that empowering a completely unprincipled narcissist megalomaniac will cause.

People like that will always find a way to do more damage than you ever thought possible. Prime example — What Trump is already doing, and he is just getting started.

Do you think he’s creating prisons in El Salvador is just for a few illegals? Can you spell “Political Prisoners” “Black Sites” “Troublemakers” and “Enemies Of The People”?

If you think you, your family, your friends, reporters, judges, politicians, and members of minority races and religions are all safe from taking an involuntary trip south of the border because they were born here or they haven’t committed a traditional crime, you are not paying attention.
