OK, I can’t hold this in any longer. I have to say out loud what a lot of people are thinking.
The Rich & Powerful Get First Call On The Lifeboats
Trump and Christie and Kellyanne Conway and the Republican senators and, I suspect, other rich and powerful politicians who got infected with Covid, only had to snap their fingers to be immediately given every possible drug and treatment known to man while 210,000 other, decent, hard-working, honest, ordinary, infected Americans only got a few days or weeks on a ventilator followed by a trip to the cemetery.
The Chickens Have NOT Come Home To Roost
Trump and Christie and Conway and their co-conspirator Republicans have been running around, not just refusing to wear a mask or socially distance, but actively telling people that the virus was fake news, that it was a Democrat-created myth, that it wasn’t dangerous, that it would soon magically disappear, that masks were just an unnecessary exercise in political correctness, while knowing that all of that was a total lie.
Surprise, Surprise The Virus Didn’t Care About Political Power
They somehow thought that their wealth and power would protect them from the virus, but when they too got infected because of their own reckless conduct, BAM, suddenly all the stops were pulled out.
Nothing Is Too Good For Infected Republicans
Instantly, all these bigwig Republicans cut to the head of the line and the FDA and the doctors and hospitals and pharmaceutical companies fell all over themselves to immediately inject them with every experimental drug in the known world while the 210,000 ordinary Americans who got sick were left in over-crowded hospitals to die on ventilators.
How the hell is that the way things are supposed to work in this country?
Will All Politicians Please Cut To The Front Of The Line
Sure, I understand. The default rule is that our leaders get special treatment.
Leaders? These people?
- These scoundrels who lied about the COVID danger for their own selfish, political benefit?
- These people who did nothing, NOTHING, to lead the country down a safe path away from the disease and, in fact willfully led us in the other direction because they thought it was going to get them more votes?
- These people who knowingly advocated unsafe practices because pretending that the virus wasn’t a danger, that it wasn’t real, that masks and distancing were “anti-American” was their conscious plan designed to promote their unlimited self interest?
What the Hell kind of leaders are they to deserve any special treatment?
A Tale Of Two Classes — Republican Politicians & Ordinary Citizens
How are they leaders who deserve to get all the perks, to cut the line, to get super double extra special medicine while decent, honest, hard-working Americans are left to die without the artificial antibody treatments, without Remdesivir, without plasma anti-body infusions, without dexamethasone steroids because they aren’t important like Trump and Christie and the Republican senators who for months have been telling millions of out-of-work Americans to just stand in line at a food bank in order to feed their children?
In what universe are these people leaders who deserve special treatment?
I Don’t Want Anyone, ANYONE, To Die From COVID
Do I want Trump and the rest of his sycophants, apologists and co-conspirators in the politicization and cover-up of danger from the Covid pandemic dead? Of course not. Absolutely not!
I want them disgraced and in a perfect world exiled, neither of which can happen if they’re dead.
I don’t want them in caskets. I want them in a jail cells.
They Chose To Tell Lies That Led People To Their Deaths
They could have been decent people.
They could have responsible leaders.
They could have been honest, but they chose, CHOSE, to be liars and frauds, to send thousands if not tens of thousands of their fellow Americans, people whom, as leaders they had a responsibility to protect, to their deaths because lying about the pandemic suited their overwhelming lust to retain their political power.
Ted Bundy killed a few dozen people. Trump and his co-conspirators’ lies have sent tens of thousands of Americans to their graves and now, when they’re sick with the very disease that they promised was no big deal, we’re supposed to feel sorry for them? We’re supposed to pray for their speedy recovery?
How the Hell do the wives, husbands, parents and children of those hundreds of thousands of Americans who have died from this vicious disease feel when they see that Malignant Buffoon riding around in his bullet-proof limo smiling and waving because he’s gotten all those special, privileged treatments while all their loved ones got was a ventilator and a trip to the cemetery?
Trump and his co-conspirators have traded dead American’s lives for the hope of getting living American’s votes.
That is so wrong.
