How to create AI videos using ChatGPT
ChatGPT has opened up the proverbial floodgates 🌊🚪by introducing customGPTs.
Here’s what they tweeted on Jan 10th, 2024
Of course, I dove right in 🏊 and stumbled upon VideoGPT by Veed.io
The concept is pretty simple AND kinda brilliant 💡
You can interact with ChatGPT and ask it to create a video using their VideoGPT Bot 🤖
It’ll ask you some basic questions before ChatGPT can request Veed.io for the video build.
Here’s how my first video chat started with VideoGPT
Notice I was SO excited to get started that instead of saying fried spicy chicken, I called it Friend Spicy Chicken 🐤🍔
Regardless, ChatGPT understood what I was trying to do, and then VideoGPT asked me some follow-up questions.
I promptly answered all the questions, and YET, AGAIN, I misspelled the name. Instead of Side Chick, I called it Side Check 🤦♂️(slow down fast fingers)
This is where things get VERY INTERESTING!
VideoGPT now takes the output from the prompt and sends it to Veed.io to create an AI-generated video based on the outline.
Note: This isn’t one of those scary-looking AI generators. From what I could tell, veed.io is taking the prompts, and based on those prompts, it’s inserting stock videos along with AI voiceover to create a cohesive AI-generated video.
I was really really REALLY curious as to what this will look like. And to my surprise, the output was pretty decent!
Here’s a link to how the video turned out.
More than the video itself, this is a testament to the ART OF POSSIBLE!
This V1 is a proof of concept.
Validation for companies to create a new flywheel.
Validation for ChatGPT that they’re on the right track by opening this “marketplace”.
Validation for us users — that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
Do you have an interesting GPT BOT you’d like me to write about? Mention it in the comments below, and remember not to post spammy links — unless the link takes me to SPAM (the food) 😉
