GPUnion Launch Review and the First Bi-Weekly Report 0705–0719
Overview
The GPUnion Project and GPUnion Token (GUT) launch is complete. During the last two weeks, we posted official announcement of the launch of GPUnion. We’ve released the main webpage of GPUnion, wallets, whitepaper, bounty program, official communities, and several social media platforms. We appreciate the global crypto community for believing in our platform, working through this new process with us, and for the continued support. Welcome to GPUnion. Here’s our launch review and the first bi-weekly report.
Development
Built on blockchain technology, GPUnion aims to save the large amounts of computing resources that used to be wasted on mining, and share this power across GPUnion Ecosystem. Instead of random hash value mining, resources in GPUnion Ecosystem are empowered with modern technologies including artificial intelligence, scientific computing, deep learning, etc. GUT (GPUnion Token) is used as the digital currency among GPUnion Ecosystem to settle payments between providers and customers.
Over the last two weeks, our dev team has made tremendous progress on the development of core architecture of GPUnion Ecosystem, wallet, token distribution chain, whitepaper and so on.
1. GPUnion Ecosystem are constitute by constitute providers, customers, mining pools, and exchanges. Currently, more and more miners have joined our ecosystem and the maximum hash has reached to 40GH\s for the mean time. And the average network hash is 11.3GH\s, the difficulty is 105.4 and the Height is 25612. Currently, the network has is 10.05 GH\s, the difficulty is 72.32.
2. We’ve released Windows and Linux Wallets. GPUnion Wallet will provide excellent user experiences for decentralized trades, which will solve the problems of security, transparency and liquidity. To download GPUnion Wallet, please check: https://github.com/GpunionProject/Gpuniontoken/releases/tag/Gpuniontoken. Mac Wallet is being implemented, we will update the progress and announce the new version as soon as possible.
3. GPUnion tokens were officially released on July 5th, which are mined in our x16r based anti-ASIC chain called GPUnion Token Distribution Chain before being reflected to the mainnet. Token in GPUnion Token Distribution Chain will be swapped to the same amount of GUT in the main net. We are NOT and will NOT distribute GUTs via any sort of Initial Coin Offering.
4. We uploaded the first version of GPUnion Whitepaper, which includes the market research, project architecture, ecosystem, apps, milestones, token distribution etc. We will modify and revise GPUnion Whitepaper, once we have any changes and significant progress. According to the feedbacks we’ve received from our community members, we will commit ourselves to provide a more stable and promising platform in the following days. And more progresses on GPUnion App, merchine learning etc. will be updated on our official communities and social media platforms.
Operation and Marketing
We opened official communities and social media platforms subsequently to communicating with our miners, traders, and potential customers. The first Bounty Program was released last week. Till now, we’ve received translations for whitepaper, video, tweets and other endorsements from different individuals or institutions. We appreciate all your interests and supports. Here’s a summary of our operation and marketing these two weeks.

And our admins from different cultures will be here 24h for communicating and answering your questions, two of our developers also joined the admin team for answering technology questions. Till now, we have 566 members in our Discord group and the average on-line rate is 40%.
3. We opened GPUnion Telegram group: https://t.me/gpunion. And we have our excellent admins to update GPUnion’s recent news for you. Till now, we have 183 members in our Telegram group.
