Well, it looks as though the Twitter Trends Bot was a bit shortcoming.

The more I optimized the backtests, the more I realized that the algorithm was without profit — or negative profit — most of the time. It really depended on these few and far between orders that would take off into 1000s %s profit in order to sustain itself…

… we tried some new logic to prefer those ‘mewnshots,’ for instance exiting any trade that didn’t hit a minimum threshold after a certain amount of time — however, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that the Zignaly interface we were using would report (more often than not) noticeable losses… which wouldn’t really attract all that many users.

As of a few days ago, the algo was shut down on Zignaly and everyone received the remainder of their contributions back.

Now, tomorrow I get my formal offers from my ultra-secret stealth startup opportunity in its various different entities - after 20 months working for sweat equity, I get to find out how many %s and $s there are allocated to me and my performance incentives :)

Part of these deals mean that my communications might be misconstrued as financial advice, given my station, regardless of what disclaimers I provide. Our handbook will require that all of my posts on Substack, Hackernoon, Medium etc be reviewed by our compliance team prior to being submitted or made public. This also means far, far less net communications from me that have to do with finance or crypto whatsoever :)
