[Announcement] Rename our project to GBT Protocol.
Hello, Everyone. Today the post is going to be about the change in the name of our mainnet project.
We started our business with the name ‘Grabity’ since November 2017. We are excited to announce that our project name has changed from Grabity to GBT Protocol from July 2019. There are two business reasons why we decided to change the name of our project.
As follows :
- There has been communication issues from having a similar name to one of the game developments company(Gravity). We try to avoid further issues which could trigger more inconvenience for our users.
- We have found an issue from the search engine which is caused by having a similar name with the movie ‘Gravity’. In addition, we have found the auto-correction problems on when we google our project on search engines.
For these reasons, it was reasonable to change the name of our project from Grabity to GBT Protocol. We will now onwards be using this new name officially for company’s recognition.
Le’t me explain details about our new name, GBT Protocol.
We bring GBT from our coin symbol, and bring the term ‘Protocol’ to imply our sprit to aim to invent revolutionary mainnet with our Orbit Network, as you can see same intention on our logo, ‘ New paradigm of the Internet’
We would love to reiterate that the only change here is the our mainnet project name to GBT Protocol in Grabity company, the coin symbol is stayed as GBT. Our GBT Protocol team will try our the best to make this change as a chance to be more outstanding to you.
